48 Hours with Genesis Motors at the Scottish Open

As an automotive and commercial photographer, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to attend the Genesis Scottish Open in the Summer of 2022. This was an excellent opportunity to immerse myself in the Genesis brand and capture the action as it unfolded. In addition, I also had the chance to experience some of the gastronomy and well-being activities that Genesis had on offer. I found this a great way to learn more about the 'Son Nim' philosophy underpinning their branding.

The Scottish Open is a Golf event, part of the Rolex Series. It is one of the European Tour's premier events, and I was privileged to attend. We were lucky to stay at Archerfield House, a stunning venue that overlooks the Firth of Forth. I was able to make the most of my time there and get some great shots of the Genesis cars in action.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to attend. I would recommend checking out the Scottish and the Genesis brand.

Genesis is a Korean brand, so if you're looking for an alternative to traditional Western automotive brands, they are worth considering. I think they offer a great product, and it was exciting to learn more about their philosophy and how this is reflected in their cars. They have some great electric cars, my favourite was the GV80, so if you're looking for a more sustainable option, Genesis should be on your radar.
